👤Updating patient/appointment details
This page explains how to add or update patient and appointment details for Scribe appointments.
Please note: If you are integrated, you will not be able to edit patient details or appointment time for appointments pulled from your EMR.
Updating patient details
On the right side menu bar of the appointment details page, click the folder icon. This opens the Content List where you can edit patient information.

There are two way to add/edit a patient:
Click 'Add patient details' and enter information into the pop-up window that appears (see images below).


If you have already added a patient, click 'Edit' next to their name to make changes.

If the patient you're trying to add already exists in Mikata (i.e., you've seen them previously for a Scribe appointment), you can search for them in the 'Patient info' field.

Updating appointment date and time
In the top left of the appointment details page, click the edit icon. A window will pop up where you can change the date and time of the appointment.
