🎶Sound Notifications

Notification sounds help keep you informed about the status of your scribe sessions—especially useful when you need to step away from the screen and focus on the patient during an appointment.

What You’ll Hear

Distinct audio cues play automatically during specific system-triggered events:

  • Session Auto-Paused – When the system automatically pauses the session (e.g., due to an error or connectivity issue), a sound will play. User action may be required.

  • Session Auto-Resumed – If the system resumes the session on its own, you'll hear a notification sound.

  • Session Stopped – A sound confirms the session has ended.

Note: You will not hear a sound when you manually pause or resume a session—only when the system does so automatically.

Why It Matters

These sound cues allow you to stay informed without checking the screen—ideal during patient appointments or when multitasking.

How to Turn It On/Off

You can disable notification sounds at any time:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap on the General tab

  3. Scroll down to the Notification section

  4. Toggle on/off Sound effect

You can turn this feature on or off at any time based on your workflow.
