The Template Library is your centralized hub to access and manage:

  • Scribe Note Templates – structured medical documentation templates.

  • Macros – reusable text blocks or shortcuts. See details

Templates are organized based on ownership levels, and users can filter and search based on several criteria.

Where is the template library?

To access the Template Library: Navigate to the left-hand menu > click on "Library"

Template ownership levels

Templates are categorized into three levels:

  1. Mikata Level:

    • Created by Mikata Health.

    • Available to all users across clinics.

    • View-only – cannot be edited by users.

  2. Clinic Level (πŸ₯):

    • Created by Clinic Admins.

    • Shared within the clinic.

    • Editable by Clinic Admins.

  3. Private Level (πŸ”’):

    • Created by individual providers for personal use.

    • Not visible to other users; Only admin can see all the private template created by individual providers.

    • Fully editable by the creator.

Template Management

In the Library, you can:

  • View: Click on a template to preview its contents.

  • Edit: Modify templates (if you have permission) to suit your workflow. See Template Customization

  • Search & Filter: Use filters at the top of the page to find templates quickly.

  • Create New Templates: Build reusable templates for future use.

  • Favourite: Click the heart icon to save frequently used templates.

  • Pin: Pin a default template for your scribe sessions.

Using Templates in a Scribe Session

To use a note template during an appointment:

  1. Click "Add template" at the top of the scribe note.

  2. This opens your Template Library.

  3. Choose the template you’d like Mika to use.

AI-Powered Suggestions

Mika also recommends relevant documents like Referral Letters, Patient Handouts, and more. These appear under the "Suggested for you" section, based on appointment context and specialty.
