Customize your template
Watch this 3 minute video to learn how to customize your note templates so you get great notes every time.
Step-by-step instructions
From a Mika appointment, click the Magic Wand button on the lefthand side of the Formatting Toolbar at the top of your note.
This will bring you to the Template Editor for that particular note, so you can make customizations that will be applied every time you use that template in the future.
Within the Template Editor, you can edit the template's data from the panel on the lefthand side (e.g., template name).
You can edit the template's content from the panel on the righthand side.
To add a jellybean, click on the template and place your cursor where you want the new jellybean to go. Then, click on the jellybean you want to add in the Content Container at the top of the panel - you should see the jellybean appear in your template
To remove a jellybean, click the Cog button on the jellybean and select Delete from the menu that appears.
To customize a jellybean, click the Cog button on the jellybean and select Customize form the menu that appears. Add instructions to help Mika draft exactly the right content for that jellybean.
Once you're finished, click the "Update Template" button in the upper righthand corner of the page - you should be taken back to your Mika appointment and a new draft of your note using the updated template should appear.
Use the Pin button to make this new template your default.
