Mika has some exciting upgrades on the way to give you a new and improved scribe experience. This page includes a sneak peek at some of these changes including enhancing Mika's note accuracy and giving you access to more customizations in your templates!

Improved note accuracy
We're upgrading our AI model, so that your notes are more accurate and include the details you need to provide exceptional care for your patients.
New style selectors
Want more details in your notes? A more concise note? Patient friendly documents? Notes with more information about the patients thoughts and feelings?
All of these are possible and easier than ever with Mika's new style selectors! Control the level of detail, length of note, audience language, and tone all in one place.
AI placeholder reorganization & sharing across templates
In this new upgrade, we've reorganized the AI placeholders (aka jellybeans or suggestions) in the template editor.
What is an AI placeholder?
In the note, there are colourful jellybean-like AI placeholders. These placeholders tell Mika what to information from the appointment to include in the note.
Mika has different types of placeholders, including text (for sentences or paragraphs of content), calculations, dates & times, and more!
Easily search for any AI placeholder you need...
In the past, each of the AI text placeholders (e.g. Subject, Objective, HPI, etc.) has been associated with one template, so you could only use it in that type of note.
As part of these changes, any AI placeholder from the library can be added to any note template.
OR create your own from scratch!
You will soon be able to create your own sections in the note and give Mika instructions about what you want that section to include and look like.
Login with a passkey
Coming soon, users will be able to log in faster, safer, and easier with passkeys.
What is a passkey?
A passkey is a secure, passwordless authentication method that allows you to log into your account using biometrics (e.g. finger print, face ID) or your device's pin.

🗓️ When will I see these updates?
These changes will be rolling out towards the end of March/early April.
You don’t need to take any action – all of your existing notes, templates and settings will remain accessible in the redesigned Mika AI Scribe app.
