Step-by-step program application guide

If you're new to Mika AI Scribe (i.e., you don't already have an account you can login to), you'll need to sign up for an account and login to complete your application.

If you're an existing user, login to your account to complete your application.

Sign up for a Mika AI Scribe account

1. Navigate to https://mikatahealth.com/ in your favourite, modern web browser - you should see a form.

2. Complete the form and click the "Sign up" button.

   1. If your form is submitted successfully, you'll see a screen titled "You're almost there!"

3. Go to your email app and check the inbox for the email address you used to sign up - you should see an email from Mikata Health inviting you to activate your account.

4. Click the "Activate Mika" button in the email - you should see a screen where you can create your password.

5. Create your password and click submit - you should automatically be logged in to the Mika AI Scribe app.

Login and complete your application

If you're a new user who has just created your account, you should automatically be logged in to the Mika AI Scribe app after creating your password.

If you're an existing user, navigate to https://app.mikatahealth.com and login.

1. As soon as you're logged in, you should see a pop-up titled "Special Offer - Get Mika free for a year" - Click the "Learn More" button.

2. This will take you to your Manage Subscriptions page - you should see a banner with the Canada Health Infoway AI Scribe Program offer - Click the "Apply Now" button.

3. Review the Terms and Conditions. When you're finished, click the "Apply" button.

   1. The "Apply" button will not become clickable until you scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up.

4. Fill out the application form and check the Agreement boxes.

   1. Some of this information may already be prefilled for you, if you're part of a group account.

5. Click the "Submit Application" button - you should be taken back to the Manage Subscriptions page.

   1. A success notification should appear at the top of the screen - you can click on it to dismiss it.

   2. The banner should now show a "Pending Approval" tag on it.

   3. You should also eceive an email confirming your application was submitted.

6. Your application will be reviewed within 7-10 days, but you can use Mika in the meantime.

   1. Click the "Start Using Mika Now" link in the banner - you should be taken to the Appointments page where you can start a Mika appointment.

Application review and decision

We will verify your application information and send your application to Canada Health Infoway and in some cases, your provincial or territorial health authority to determine whether or not you are eligible for the program. This process should take 7-10 days.

Once we hear back, you will be notified by email.

If you login to the app, you will also see an "Approved" or "Denied" tag on the Canada Health Infoway AI Scribe banner on your Manage Subscriptions page.
